These materials will make a difference in my student's learning by allowing them to have engaging activities at their developmental level. Students will use the race track to practice turn taking and learn to interact appropriately with their peers. The hedgehog, dinosaurs, and alligators will improve my students’ fine motor skills by challenging their hand-eye coordination. With the peekaboo farm, my students would work on their fine motor skills while also practicing their matching of colors and numbers.
The alphabet sound tubs create hands-on experiences for my students to learn letters and their sounds which will further develop their language skills. Using the mystery box would create excitement as I introduce new concepts to my students.
Through sensory and cause and effect, these materials would create a variety of learning opportunities. They would allow my students to use their senses to improve their language and academic skills. From these materials, students will learn that actions have an effect on their environment which is needed for life-long learning.
