Students who have not read a chapter book cover to cover have missed out on an amazing experience. My class is full of students just like this. Students who's imaginations and hearts fall in love with chapter books are life long learners. Struggling readers will often pick up books that are full of pictures. I need to help my students to not be afraid of chapter books that have contain little to no pictures. My students love to learn and now they need to love to read! That's what this class set of books will do. By having their own copy they will be engaged, their curiosity will have room to grow and be able to personally connect to the story.
