Where do I start? The STEM activities will provide the kids with real life experiences to enter into a STEM future. The literacy activities will help my kiddos get where they need to be and beyond. All of my choices are hands on materials to make real connections. The multicultural material will help prepare the students for the Global world and see themselves in the room. The books are all high quality to learn about diversity and enhance learning. The furniture is the best of the best and designed to meet the needs of all children. Everything in the room currently is very old. I do not even have a real teacher chair. Everything in this purchase can be backed up to help the kids. The math manipulatives are so good. It will really help them grow. The social and emotional learning is crucial given this last year. These kids deserve it… they really do. Especially given the fact the kids are military, the students move so much this new room will make the transition easier. I’ve been teaching for 5 years and I plan on staying at this school for years to come. It’s a great school and it makes do with what it has, but what if they had everything they needed? Then what?
