7:30-3:00 is a long day when you are 5 years old. Breakfast is at 7:30, lunch begins at 10:45 which for a very long afternoon. Studies have shown that a student's basic needs such as hunger must be met in order to meet other needs.
I would like to provide my students with nutritious snacks each day to ensure their tummies are full and their minds reenergized. With the rigor of today's curriculum, not a minute of the day is wasted. Help my students to remain active and engaged learners by fulling their tummies in the afternoon.
