We gather at the meeting area at the start of each subject. We use anchor charts and our white board to help us understand what we need to learn. I like to put up tips and examples to give the kids a visual. Unfortunately we do not have enough room to store anchor charts and save things written on the board for later. I have to wipe off the wipe board each time!
If we had this easel I could have a math problem written on one side and spelling words written on the other. I could have their reading and writing anchor charts hanging on top! We could even store read aloud books and notebooks in the bins below. While teaching math I imagine keeping manipulatives in the buckets as well for those students who need the extra help.
Having this easel would keep us from wasting class time and hold teaching charts as references for the kids to use when they are working!
