We have many students in our school that could benefit greatly from a sensory-focused environment. Students with disabilities, anxiety, anger, PTSD, grief, ADHD etc. can utilize the sensory items that will be placed in our hallway and a specific sensory room. By utilizing the sensory room and items, students will be able to reduce stress, reduce aggression, increase focus, increase motivation, and have a space that feels extra safe. Each year I find more and more students needing sensory and calming tools. Supporting this project would be such a benefit to our students. Thank you for your support.
