Imagine not being able to see graphs of exponential functions when solving problems. Where are the lines of intersection for quadratic equations. My students need calculators for standardized testing and to have the tools that other students have to learn higher lever mathematics.
"Graphing calculators would help me so much with both Algebra and Algebra 2, not to mention when I take my SATs", said one student.
The calculators would be used in class to explore different graphs of algebraic functions. The students would use technology that they previously have not used.
