My students are part of a program that supports academics. These students have the desire to improve academically and share the willingness to work hard. Every school day, students work hard to complete assignments on their laptops, then go home to play on their phones or PlayStations. I would like students to turn the blue light off and engage with each other. The AVID program recognizes the importance of students collaborating and working with a team to find solutions and success. Students look forward to practicing these lifelong skills every Friday. Games in the classroom will offer students the chance to collaborate and grant them joy while interacting with their peers.
