These mats will be used during nap/ rest time. We are a Title 1 school and while some of our families can afford mats, sadly most of our children can not. We are also an overflow location; which means we get our students as the other locations fill up so the families that can afford the mats may not be able to find them by the time the students get placed with us. With the cots I would not have to ask the parents to try to locate mats. The cots can be used and sanitized for several years.
