These materials that we are asking for will make a difference in all of our special education students' lives. Students need to learn the lifelong skill of being able to wash and dry their own clothes.
With the proper materials, our students will be able to learn to wash and dry their own clothes independently. Once the skill is mastered, we hope that our students will be able to wash and dry their clothes in their home or at a laundry mat. We will teach the step by step process of sorting, washing at the right temperature, adding the right amount of detergent, drying, and then folding of their clothes.
