I would love to add sensory and fine motor materials to my classroom. Fine motor materials provide hands-on learning to keep my students engaged while developing their fine motor skills. Most of my students can not yet write or trace, so these fine motor items will help them develop the prerequisite skills needed to write. Sensory items help my students get out energy, stay calm, and focus on their work.
Sensory play is vital for my students, as it reduces challenging behaviors, and keeps them engaged in learning.
These tools will lead to academic success for my students. The materials will increase their focus, while keeping their minds and bodies regulated.
