Currently, in my classroom, we have 8 Chromebooks for 24 students. Having more Chromebooks will help students utilize technology for their learning. In our class, we use two online programs I-Ready(math) and Lexia(literacy). It has been a challenge to ensure that all students get their recommended time on these apps. Having more Chromebooks would give students more opportunities to do personalized math and literacy lessons. In addition to those programs, there are many others websites that my students use. One of those websites is called Epic. This website has a variety of books on a different levels that students can read. I utilize this website for research projects. Students are able to find great informal books to support their research writing assignments. Overall, these additional Chromebooks would impact my students learning in such a huge way!
