The teacher pay teacher materials will be used to support students with developmental delays and cognitive disabilities learn to speak and communicate more effectively at home and school. Materials from teacher pay teachers such as matching, identifying nouns/words, identifying/stating actions, and picture symbols to point to in order to communicate a need and want would be beneficial to staff in order to teach communication skills. More specifically, we help develop skills in order for children to communicate their wants, needs and ideas in school to interact with peers, teachers and parents. It is essential that these children learn skills in order to express themselves and have a "voice".
The children will use these items in small groups, whole groups, and for take home practice and parent education. Anything will help these sweet children talk!!
