Students will be able to use these instruments to apply the knowledge they have learned this year. The smaller classroom instruments would be used for our K through 2nd grade students to explore music by keeping a steady beat and by moving their bodies.
Ukuleles would be used for our 6th through 8th grade students. They would learn familiar tunes, as well as new ones, and the value of playing a musical instrument. Not only would they learn a new skill, but they would further develop their ability to read music notation, have the opportunity to fuel their creativity, and learn the value of dedication and practice.
