The materials will be used to create experiences about the real world. Every two weeks we will have a different science lesson related to our life. We will learn about our body, insects, plants, animals, water, dirt, motion and many other things they are curious about! We will do activities in class as a group. This will focus on their listening skills, following directions, vocabulary, questioning skills and safety.
The students will then take those skills and apply them independently or as a group in science centers. The students will also have monthly photo journals that can be shared with their family. This will encourage discussions about science at home and hopefully encourage families to continue to foster their child's buzzing minds!
