We use student iPads to learn about photography and take photos daily in Middle School Visual Arts. The existing iPads give each student low-cost access to a camera and editing software, which offers a way to teach photography concepts without excessive startup or ongoing costs. However, we do not have access to a color printer, so many of the photos are "live" on student iPads. By having a color printer and photo paper available, students can print their favorites and show them off at home and in the hallways!
By donating to our project, you will help motivate students to both improve their photography skills and give them away to share their creative work with classmates, friends, and family.
Rather than relying solely on screens to share photography, students will be able to print photos, hang them in our hallways, and share their work outside of the classroom.
