I love to used incentives for students to work their hardest in reading class. Currently we use an online program called Quizizz that give points for getting a question correct the first time. The top 5 students each week earn some kind of incentive. This grant will allow me to provide candy to encourage students to work as many as they can in the program. This grant also allows me to add some more books to my classroom library. My students really enjoy graphic novels and have asked for more to be added.
