My school's population is about 98% Hispanic. We have many students from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico. They all express a longing for their home countries and love to describe where they have come from. We would use the art supplies so they could accurately represent where they are from and be able to draw themselves as the perfect beings they are.
The math and reading supplies will let us have a complete and well rounded classroom. I want my students to be global citizens and Time for Kids and Scholastic News will definitely help them achieve that goal!
