I'm a school psychologist serving a Title I elementary school. This is a diverse school with diverse needs. Our students come from numerous countries and speak several different languages. Some of our students have Autism, ADHD, and Sensory Disorders. Many other students do not have diagnosed disabilities, but can benefit from some of the same resources and materials proven to help our exceptional learners. Unfortunately, obtaining these materials for our general education students can be hard to come by. I believe that we should use resources that have been shown to provide benefit, whether a student has a diagnosis or not. That's why I want to gather a collection of sensory seating options that teachers can check out from me to use with their students.
