My students attend school each day exhibiting a great deal of joy and enthusiasm for learning. Our school community is located in a high-poverty area and the school is a safe haven for our students. Many of my students come to school without the supplies they need to be academically successful. The families of my students struggle to get their child the daily essentials needed for school. My students deserve to be able to come to school and have the materials and supplies they need to have a positive learning environment.
