This current 2021-22 school year, I have decided to host a book raffle. The book raffle is called Readers Are Leaders and is open to all of my students that I see for periods 1-5. Once a month, I select two winners that will receive a book from me personally based on the suggestions and interests they gave me during the first week of school. My goal is to encourage my students to read especially the ones who haven't read a physical book for the past 18+ months. The materials I have chosen for my projects are different kinds of books that I feel my students would enjoy reading. Hopefully, me giving them their own book inspires a passion for reading.
