I have 25 first-graders in my class, including English Language Learners and students with learning disabilities. During this year, students are learning to read and write and they need the support of visual aids. Calendar time is one of their favorite things to do in school. During this time we recite the days of the week, months of the year, and poems. We also try to do Number Corner that includes money, odd/even, weather, and time.

About my class
