I chose using planners to help many students with special needs, ADHD, or children with organization problems as a means to get more organized. Writing homework on pieces of paper tends to get lost in the shuffle. If students had planners, they would have all their information organized and in one place making it easier for them to find things.
Many students are in such a rush at the end of the day and forget their homework. Agendas will help alleviate this problem because students will write homework in these books and place homework in there as soon as it is assigned.
