Kindergarten is a truly amazing year. Most students enter kindergarten not knowing their letters and letter sounds. By the end of the year, they are reading books with fluency. Giving books to children that spark their interest and imagination is crucial to developing their love of reading.
I would like to purchase early reader books to give to my students so they can read at home with their families. This will have an amazing impact on their ability to meet kindergarten standards and develop their love of reading. Books full of vibrant illustrations and entertaining tales will inspire students to retell the story to their families. (RL.K.1 and RL.K.2) Early readers with familiar characters at each student’s reading level will help build their reading fluency. (RF.K.4}
