I teach in a large school with 600 students who all qualify to receive free breakfast and lunch. I teach 24 2nd graders in a Dual Language program. My students come from families with limited resources but a vast desire for their children to succeed. Parents often work two and three jobs to make ends meet. Despite the hardships my students face, they come to school eager to learn and with a smile on their faces.
