Having individual headphones with a mic will help each student when they are working independently. They will be better able to focus on what they are doing because they won't have extra noise from other Chromebooks interfering with their learning.
More importantly, when they are working on some academic programs they are required to have a mic to speak into to practice certain skills. They have been unable to do these lessons because they don't have headphones are the headphones they have don't have a mic.
These headphones would also cut down on classroom noise. This would allow the students working with me in small groups a better learning environment, with less.
