I have long dreamed of having a classroom that offers flexible seating, but I haven't been able to achieve it effectively on my own. I know that as a student myself, just sitting at a desk didn't really help me focus. I was uncomfortable, I would get fidgety and my concentration was usually not where it was supposed to be. I see these same behaviors in a lot of my students. I believe that offering choices for them might increase their learning and concentration by allowing them to find seating that is comfortable to them.
