Students with autism and related disorders LOVE to swing and move. They have a sensory need for this throughout the day. I would like to give them the opportunity to swing inside the classroom and outside. With the amount of students we have this year, we are rotating each child on the only two swings we currently have.
Adding the outdoor swing will allow more to be able to access the equipment and for longer periods. The indoor swing frame is needed for indoor swinging for those cold or rainy days. (We currently have a hammock swing, but no frame for it.)
