Students are given the opportunity during what we call "Badger Time" to develop new skills and discover new interests.
Some of these supplies will be utilized to teach students baking and cooking skills through cake and cookie decorating. This will also allow them to apply practical math skills as they measure and modify recipes in their baking.
Students will also have a chance to learn basic hand and machine sewing skills. These are skills that are often not taught but are important for life, as well as fun and practical.
Other craft materials will be used for service projects, in which the students will make items to donate to members of the community.
Please help us to make our "Badger Time" meaningful and fun for all students!
