These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them the opportunity to work independently. Kids learn through all their senses and like to touch and manipulate things.
I will use these activities for differentiation based on my students' needs. When students are engaged with their hands and their minds, they are more focused and motivated to learn.
By having access to hands-on activities, my students will be able to practice the concepts they are learning in many different ways. They will practice counting, addition, subtraction for Math, CVC words, blending, diagraphs for Reading. Hands-on activities will help my students to master the first grade skills.
