As we build our maker space at Murray Middle School, we are building a collection of hands technology that will help kids learn through physical exploration. MakeyMakeys are a collection of items that allow students be creative, inventive, and imaginative as they learn about circuits. Banana pianos anyone? They challenge students to solve problems in their own ways, using design thinking techniques.
When discovering with MakeyMakeys, student success is not measured by a correct answer or approach but rather by making mistakes and applying different solutions. They are effective for both independent and collaborative learning across the grade levels and curriculum areas at Murray.
