My students are self-contained most of the day. They have very few opportunities to be stimulated through interactions. This leads to them distracting themselves by putting items in their mouths and not being able to focus on the activities in front of them. I want more for them.
These sensory toys will engage my students and allow them to build skills as they interact with the others around them. We work on sorting activities and building fine motor skills daily. These resources will help us tremendously. And if they go in their mouths, there is no danger.
