As a teacher, it is not only my job to teach my students academics, but also to help them become empathetic, supportive, and loving people. One of the best ways to support children in this area is through literacy that they enjoy and understand. Because the more my students read, the more curious and skilled they become. And the more curious they become, the more books I want to give them to explore.
My students love to learn about diversity and they have a passion for creating a welcoming and encouraging classroom environment. I want to give my students a library that is organized, diverse, and exciting. By donating to this project, you are giving my students the literacy center they deserve and helping them develop the tools they need to succeed in life.
