Our school is a Title I school, meaning that more than 50% of our students live under the poverty line. This affects their learning in so many ways, and as a teacher, I try to make sure they have everything they need to be successful. Our school gives all of our students a computer to use at school and take home, and this helps them learn all how to use technology and learn using a lot of different applications.
Since they get to take the computer some every day it is sometimes hard to have a place in the classroom where they can store the computer and it is easy to access every day for various subjects.
Right now they are taking them out of their backpacks every time they need them and it takes them too long. If we had these storage bags behind their chairs, they could have easier access to the computers and I could use them even more in my lesson planning. Right now I try to only use it when necessary given that it takes us too long to get them out and ready.
