Currently, we do not have a color printer in our classroom. We need a color printer for our ESL classroom English learners (ELs) love see their original work in color. ELs effectively learn when they have access to pictures presented in color as this is more realistic. I use pictures in my instruction to help to build students' background knowledge and academic vocabulary. I will use this color printer to print labels in our classroom to support students tier two vocabulary. This will help with both receptive and expressive vocabularies.
