Since the 1st day of school, I noticed that my first graders do not have a safe and clean place for their personal items in our classroom. My 1st graders have to keep their personal items floors inside and outside our classroom. Sometimes it is a distraction and students tumble and fall because of the mess. Due to this, I am requesting a backpack cart for my students. With the COVID situation, having a backpack cart will allow every student to have their own hook to hang up their backpacks, jackets and lunch/snack bags free of germs. In the morning and at dismissal, it is crazy to see students search for their personal items or put them away. A backpack cart will help my students to be organized as well as not make waste important learning minutes from class. Thank you in advance for your donation and kindness to helping my students stay germ free and be healthy.
