Students are being introduced to basic coding concepts using a technique called unplugged coding. Unplugged coding utilizes printable games students can play. In each game students must give step by step directions to get to an end goal. Students then must make sure their instructions are understandable by showing them to another student. By using a dry erase paper protector, students can reuse the same worksheet/ game to see how many ways they can get to the end! This is a great way to save paper and teach children how computers follow basic commands one step at a time.
