I want my students to love reading. I want to instill in them a passion for books and a desire to read for enjoyment. I hope that by providing a space for my students to comfortably sit with a book, they will be encouraged to sit a bit longer and get lost in a story they love. I also want to provide them with book choices relatable to their social emotional well-being as well as their cultural identity. I want this project to grow readers in my first grade classroom!

About my class
