These books will help enhance our Weather and Junior Storm Chaser Club. The students will be able to engage in high- interest narrative non- fiction about severe weather. They will learn about how storm chasers forecast storms and are able to capture footage safely. The students will learn how to use technology such as iPads to gather data from radar apps, forecasting tools, and websites to make their own weather forecasts. Another use of the iPads will be to take digital photos and videos of weather phenomena around the school in order to create multimedia projects showing weather patterns and weather safety.

About my class
