When anyone learns the skills necessary to be successful at their craft, they learn from experienced professionals. Writing is no different! Students need to hear how real authors are writing and illustrating real books in order to be inspired to write themselves. This project will allow students ages 3-11 to learn how Jerry Pallotta wrote and illustrated his books from the popular series "Who Would Win." Understanding this process will inspire them and open their eyes to the behind-the-scenes process that authors go through.
This project will make an incredible difference to our school.
Jerry Pallotta has graciously offered to do two virtual visits and sign copies of any of his books students purchase before the presentation. I want to give them this unique opportunity to connect a name on a page to an encouraging role model. Please, help bring Jerry Pallotta to our school to inspire our young readers and writers!
