The requested, puppets, stories, and STEM sets to create a safe, accepting, learning environment for my students. Even under the best circumstances, their behaviors and emotions can change frequently and rapidly, but the pandemic has impacted their social and emotional readiness for learning. They will thrive through social learning activities that will help build their appreciation of all people while teaching them to collaborate appropriately.
I will use the multi-cultural puppets as a way for every child to see themselves as important in our class and world. The stories and games will assist them in understanding empathy and appropriate behavior in school, at home, and in public. This will go along with NVACS Content Standard 2: Analyze Influences - Students will analyze the influences of family, peers, culture, media, technology, and other factors have on health behaviors.
I am excited for this to all come together for the good of my students and society.
