These emergent, level 1 and level 2 books will help provide fiction and non-fiction texts to my students who are reading below grade level. I hope these texts will help mend the educational gaps they experience due to the COVID-19 pandemic during their kindergarten school year. These books will help students who did not attend kindergarten due to the pandemic or a second language learners. Help me get my students comfortable with these soft seats and books for reading in the classroom with comfort! Standards: ELA 1.RI.1-10, 1.RL.1-10 , and Speaking and Listening standards for grade one.
