My project is about obtaining models and equipment that will help my students visualize the invisible world of chemistry. Many of our standards refer to conceptual understanding of chemistry at the atomic/molecular level, however it is very difficult to make these topics hands on and engaging. This is why I would love to have this project funded as it will give me enough resources to guide my students through this scientific inquiry. These resources will support NVACSS by helping my students better understand covalent and ionic bonding specifically HS-PS1 Matter and its interactions and HS-PS3 Energy
