The products that I have selected will help my students by providing additional seating options to make more effective learning choices, as well as help them meet the Nevada Music Standards through movement and play.
The ribbons, scissors, playground balls, and puppets will address the 4 strands in the Nevada Music standards for all grade levels, which include:
1. Creating: Conceiving and developing new artistic work and ideas.
creating, performing, responding, and connecting standards specifically for all grade levels.
2. Performing: Realizing artistic ideas and work through interpretation and presentation.
3. Responding: Understanding and evaluating how the arts convey meaning.
4. Connecting: Relating artistic ideas and work with personal meaning and external context.
The flexible seating options will help the SEL of our students as well as provide support for learning the academic standards. Students will have a place in the classroom to get the wiggles out so they can successfully engage in the music activities and be provided with a comfortable place to learn.
