We learn so much using technology in todays world. Teaching kids how to use it effectively is essential in order for them to be ready for the real world. These laptops will be used in a small center in the classroom for student research on science and social studies projects. They will also be used to advance reading levels and fill in the gaps of learning loss during COVID by using specific programs. English language learners can practice their speaking skills using a program that will record their voices and they can play it back to themselves to listen for pronunciation. The same program is used to measure progress of speaking and listening skills in all students. This project will help my students build technology skills. It will advance their knowledge of research and creativity as they learn coding, math and reading skills. One of the leading jobs in today's world is computer coding. Technology isn't going away, it's only getting better. I want to teach students how to use it to learn new things, practice their reading and math skills and more.
