The art supplies will be used to help students see the beauty of the mathematical models and representations used in class. They already sketch out their graphs and doodle around them. Better supplies will encourage them to put more effort into their models and feel more comfortable in class so that they never want to miss a class. Right now we are working on graphing transformations of different functions (G.CO.A). Seeing the transformed functions in different colors and textures can help with visually noting the changes made to the functions.

About my class
