Students will learn to play guitar with the end goal being a concert. Students will perform and demonstrate their musical knowledge and skills on guitar for their families. Students will choose which content to perform to best show off their guitar content knowledge. The teacher will ensure the concert is student-led, creating a concert with complete student choice. Students will be able to use musical terminology to explain their choices.
Guitars are an essential tool, which will serve as the foundation for student musical learning. Students will build on that foundation, enhancing musical content knowledge.
