Family and consumer science(FACS) is a new elective that was added to our curriculum this year. In this class students will learn the fundamentals of kitchen safety, cooking, table etiquette and amongst other life skills that will be beneficial when they graduate from high school.
The pots and pans, electric skillet, and cooking utensils will be use to aid in an efficient cooking experience. In addition, this will allow them to hopefully hone in on their untapped cooking skills and learn how to make healthy meals or snacks when they go home.
