I am a Speech Pathologist at Shafter High School in Shafter, Ca. Most of my caseload is comprised of Moderate-severe students in a Special Day Class. These student's skills vary from non-verbal to deaf/hard of hearing. I would like to be able to provide these students with more colored printed visuals to help them succeed in the classroom. Many of these students rely on visuals to assist them with reading comprehension, following directions, sequencing, and transitions. I would also like to be able to print AAC/picture cards for my non-verbal students. I would like to get a tablet to get one of my non-verbal student's started on AAC as well. These student has been used picture cards to communicate and is ready to move up to the next level of AAC. I am also wanting to purchase lesson plans to use in the speech room with my students.
