Students learn best when they are solving problems with exciting tools. 3D printing give students the access to using digital tools of the future (ex: Tinkercad) to create their own parts for computer science as well as models for math and science (NITS 5.EL.A.1, NGSS 3-5-ETS1-1, NGSS 5-PS1-1). Students in my class will become their own creator of technology as opposed to just consuming it. Combining this piece of technology with our curriculum will make my students inventors and artists. Help us to make this 3D printer part of our classroom and the student's memories of school.
